NOTE: Due to a recent federal court order, USCIS is now accepting DACA renewals and re-applications in accordance with the following conditions: 

1) If you had DACA previously, and it expired on or after September 5, 2016, then you may be eligible to renew your status under the court order.

2) If you have applied for DACA before and your status expired before September 5, 2016, or if you applied previously and your status was terminated at any time, you may file for DACA again as an initial application.

3) If you have never been granted DACA before, you are not currently eligible to apply.

American Gateways conducts screenings for services on a walk-in basis. Screenings are done at the Austin office from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and again from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Screenings are conducted at the San Antonio office from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. No appointment is necessary at either location.

If you or a family member or friend is detained and in need of services, please call (512) 478-0546 extension 204 and leave a message with the name of the detainee, the facility where the individual is detained and the A# (alien registration number) of the detained individual.

American Gateways now provides legal education for non-detained noncitizens at the Immigration Court Helpdesk, located in the Pro Bono room of the San Antonio Immigration Court. We are available Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to help inform non-detained respondents appearing before the court about court practices and procedures, available legal options and other relevant topics.
