Latin Nights (14)
American Gateways presented its fall fundraiser on Monday, November 16, 2009 at El Sol y La Luna's new live music venue on E. 6th Street. The theme was Latin Nights and even special guest speaker Mayor Lee Leffingwell enjoyed the fabulous salsa music from Grupo Gruvo. The energizing evening featured cocktails, dancing to live Latin jazz, delectable hors d'oeuvres, a mini-live auction by Victoria Gutierrez, raffle drawings and mixing and mingling with an array of avid American Gateways supporters. We are very appreciative of Nilda de la Llata and her generous in-kind support for making this event wonderfully successful. Because of her efforts the evening not only acted as an entertaining environment to showcase our amazing work in the community, but doubled as a fundraiser Many thanks to all of you who truly 'made' this event! -
