The city of San Antonio and community partners are sponsoring an event to help people complete their applications to become U.S. citizens. The Citizenship Workshop aims to provide one-on-one assistance for legal permanent residents (aka green card holders) who want to apply for U.S. citizenship.

If you are a green card holder and are interested in becoming a U.S. citizen, please attend this free workshop! It’s open to everyone.

YOU MUST BRING:

  • Your permanent resident card (green card)
  • State Identification or Driver’s License
  • All police and court records if you have ever been arrested, cited, detained, or charged

INFORMATION:

  • Addresses, work, and schooling (last 5 years)
  • All trips outside of the U.S. (last 5 years); and current and expired passports

La ciudad de San Antonio y los socios comunitarios están patrocinando un evento para ayudar a las personas a completar sus solicitudes para convertirse en ciudadanos de los EE. UU. El Taller de Ciudadanía brindará asistencia personalizada para residentes permanentes legales (tarjeta verde) que deseen solicitar la ciudadanía estadounidense. DEBE TRAER:

  • Tarjeta de residente permanente legal (greencard)
  • Identificación del estado o licencia de conducir
  • Antecedentes penales y disposicion de la corte siha sido arrestado, citado, detenido o acusado

INFORMACIÓN:

  • Domicilios, empleos y estudios (ultimos 5 años)
